Peekavue is committed to a safe, respectful, and lawful environment. This policy explains how we handle complaints, content removal (takedowns), and appeals for creators.
1. Submitting a complaint or takedown request
Anyone — users, non-users, or third-party representatives — may submit a complaint or request removal of content they believe violates our terms, guidelines, or applicable laws, including content that is:
- Infringing intellectual property (Copyright / DMCA).
- Illegal or non-consensual (including depictions of real or perceived non-consensual sexual content, or trafficking).
- In violation of our Community Guidelines.
- Violating personal privacy.
Complaints must be submitted via email to support@peekavue.com. For copyright-specific notices, also see our DMCA Policy and dmca@peekavue.com.
Please include:
- Your full legal name and contact information.
- A description of the content in question.
- The exact URL(s) where the content can be found.
- The specific reason for your complaint (for example copyright, non-consensual content, illegal material).
- (For IP complaints) A statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the right allegedly infringed.
2. Complaint review and takedown process
Upon receipt of a valid complaint, Peekavue will:
- Acknowledge receipt: send a confirmation email to the complainant within five (5) business days when practicable.
- Conduct a review: promptly review the reported content against our policies and legal requirements.
- Take action: if the content violates our policies or is legally actionable, we will remove or disable access (“Takedown”).
- Notify the creator: if a Takedown occurs, we will notify the creator responsible where we can identify them, providing the reason for removal.
3. Appeals process for creators
If you are a creator whose content was removed due to a complaint, you may appeal within fourteen (14) calendar days of the Takedown notification. Failure to appeal in time may finalize the decision.
Email support@peekavue.com with:
- Your creator username and full legal name.
- The specific content / URL that was removed.
- A clear statement explaining why you believe the removal was a mistake.
- Supporting evidence such as proof of age verification (for yourself or co-models), proof of consent, or evidence of IP ownership.
Our team will review your appeal and evidence. We aim to make a final decision within thirty (30) business days of a complete appeal. We will notify you by email. If successful, content may be reinstated.
